The passage of the Prins Christian Sund becomes a special spectacle: rugged rocky landscapes are reflected in the deep blue water, rising from lush green meadows in summer. In Disko Bay we encounter glaciers and majestic ice palaces, between which humpback, minke and fin whales cavort in summer. Will you spot the giants of the seas? Ilulissat, the city of icebergs, is the gateway to the mighty Icefjord. The floating chunks of ice come from Sermeq Kujalleq, the largest glacier in the northern hemisphere. From the Zodiac, the fascination of the ice in all its impressive formations is within reach. Before you head home with unforgettable memories, pay a visit to Iceland's capital Reykjavik.
